EOS C300 Mark II / C300 Mark II PL
New firmware update available for the Canon EOS C300 Mark II
Touch-Panel Sensitivity Adjustment
An adjustment has been made to the sensitivity of the touch panel for the LCD Monitor (LM-V1) in order to improve accuracy and lessen the occurrences of accidental changes to camera settings.

Lens Metadata Information (XF-AVC)
Previously lens focal length metadata was recorded in its 35mm equivalent. For users that need the actual focal length of the lens, the metadata now contains both actual and 35mm equivalent focal lengths.
Auto IRIS support has been added for the following lenses (EF Mount Only):
- EF-S 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM
- EF-85mm f/1.4L IS USM

EOS C200 / EOS C200B
New firmware for the Canon EOS C200/C200B
MXF (XF-AVC) Support
The EOS C200 and C200B now support the XF-AVC format in addition to MP4 and Cinema RAW Light.
XF-AVC is available as 1920x1080 Full HD up to 120fps, or the 3840x2160 Ultra HD recording format with frame rates up to 59.94P. XF-AVC is also available in the Sub Recording mode for low-rez proxies and dailies, and will contain camera and lens metadata matching the Cinema RAW Light files, which will facilitate offline editing.
The XF-AVC codec has been added to the C200 and C200B with frame rates up to 120fps.
Please use the following software versions (or newer):
Canon XF Utility 3.3 for Windows/macOS. Canon XF Plugin 3.3 for Avid Media Access [Windows]/[macOS]
The C200 and C200B now records in three different formats: Cinema RAW Light, MP4 and XF-AVC.
Camera metadata has been improved with additional user input options.
Progressive Segmented Frame Support
The EOS C200/C200B now support the PsF format, allowing the signal output to be displayed to a greater range of monitors. The PsF output function from the SDI and HDMI terminals has been added, when progressive internal recording has been selected. Also, additional frame rates of 50.00i/59.94i have been included, further expanding the EOS C200’s versatility.

Magnification Support (4x Recording)
With previous C200 firmware versions, when the Magnification (MAGN.) button was pressed, the center of the screen was magnified 2X. Now, 4X Magnification can be activated (even while recording) with a second press of the SET button, helping to ensure the subject is in focus. Switching between the magnification ratios is possible by depressing the SET button again. The last Magnification ratio used (2X, 4X) will be active the next time the MAGN. button is pressed. The actual lens field of view will be recorded even if magnification is active during recording.
24-bit LPCM Audio Support in Cinema RAW Light
LCPM 24-bit audio has been added when recording in Cinema RAW Light.
Digital Tele-Converter (1.5x, 3.0x, 6.0x)
Users can activate one of the new menu settings in-camera (1.5x, 3.0x, 6.0x), and set an assignable button to activate digital tele-converter on command. The digitally tele-converted frame will be recorded.
HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) Support (Output Only)
By outputting the signal from the camera in Hybrid Log Gamma, the image can be viewed on a standard or high dynamic range display that supports HLG signals.

This functionality has been added to the EOS C200/C200B for the following lenses:

- EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM
- EF-S 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM
- EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM
Enhancements
- The image reproducibility in bright areas has been enhanced when the gamma setting is from Normal 1 to 4.
- Browser Remote settings are retained after switching off the camera.

The XF405/ XF400 now supports the XF-AVC format in addition to MP4.

Flicker Reduction
Image flicker caused by certain artificial lighting conditions is now reduced.

EOS C700 / EOS C700 PL / EOS C700 GS PL
Super 16mm (2K Crop) RAW Recording Mode Added
The EOS C700 / EOS C700 GS PL now supports recording in a 2K RAW mode equivalent to a Super 16mm frame cropped from the Super 35mm sensor. This setting will be especially useful for users that wish to shoot with a broadcast style ENG lens attached using the optional Canon B4 lens mount adapters, MO-4P or MO-4E.
Super 16mm (Crop) mode recording enables the use of broadcast style ENG lenses for the C700/C700GS using the optional Canon B4 lens mount adaptor, MO-4P or MO-4E.
Super 16mm (Crop) mode is available for XF-AVC, ProRes, and Cinema RAW recording.
RAW Recorder Voltage Indicator
Users can now see the Codex RAW recorder and the camera side voltage separately, when both the AC adapter and the battery are connected to the RAW recorder, allowing the user to confirm the voltage of both the AC adapter and the battery within the camera settings.

Model distinction metadata of C700 GS PL has been added.
Saved Settings Fix
Corrected a phenomenon with firmware version 1.0.4.1.00 in which some of the white balance setting values may be rewritten if saved settings data is imported into the camera.
