Firmware Version 1.0.4.0 incorporates the following corrections:
*Note: The phenomena described below only occur in Version1.0.3.xx
- Fixes a phenomenon in which the frame rate on the MP4 index screen is always shown as 23.98P. (This only occurs on the MP4 index screen; the frame rate shown during playback is correct.)
- Fixes a phenomenon in which the camcorder doesn’t start up in some cases when the mode is switched from the MP4 index screen (MEDIA mode) to CAMERA mode. (When this phenomenon occurs, the camcorder can be restored by removing then reinserting the battery.)
Firmware Version 1.0.4.0 is for XF205 / XF200 camcorders with Firmware Version 1.0.0.xx - 1.0.3.xx. If your camcorder’s firmware is already Version 1.0.4.xx, it is not necessary to update the firmware. Once the camcorder is updated to the latest version, it cannot be restored to a previous version.
