Firmware Update: RF 24-70mm F2.8 L IS USM: Firmware Version 1.0.4
Firmware incorporates the following enhancement:
- Reduces color unevenness when capturing images using long (Bulb) exposure mode with the EOS Ra.
*Manual focus cannot be activated during exposure. Performing zoom operations during exposure may result in an out of focus subject.
This firmware update is for lenses equipped with firmware versions older than RF24-105mm F4 L IS USM Firmware Version 2.0.1, RF24-70mm F2.8 L IS USM Firmware Version 1.0.4 and RF70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM Firmware Version 1.0.5. If the lens’s firmware is already latest version, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
The firmware version of the lens can be checked from the camera's menu screen.
