CPE2026-052 – Remediation for Dirty Frag Vulnerability Affecting CPP PRISMAproduction

A vulnerability has been identified in the SUSE Linux kernel (CVE-2026-43284) that could allow a local, non-privileged user to potentially gain elevated privileges on affected systems under certain conditions.

Canon Production Printing (CPP) takes security vulnerabilities seriously and has confirmed that PRISMAproduction runs on an affected version of the Linux kernel. To address this vulnerability and maintain the security of PRISMAproduction, an operating system update is required.

Although we have not received any reports of active exploitation of this vulnerability, we strongly recommend reviewing the security advisory and implementing the recommended remediation measures at the earliest opportunity.
