Service Notice: Google Termination of Support for Google Cloud Print will be ending December 31, 2020.
Google will discontinue the Google Cloud Print (GCP) service, Google’s cloud based printing solution, on December 31, 2020. As a result, the GCP function on Canon laser printers will no longer be supported as of January 1, 2021.
- Before end of 2020 - We recommend that you find an alternative print solution and migrate your print services.
- Effective as of January 1, 2021 - Google Cloud Print will no longer be supported and devices across all operating systems will no longer be able to print using Google Cloud Print. Customers utilizing Chrome OS (including those with Chromebooks) will be most impacted by this change and require a migration plan.
