If your Canon WUX4000 projector has one of the two firmware versions listed below, a firmware update is required.

The following phenomena have been confirmed on some Canon WUX4000 projectors.

1.     If the lamp is turned on and off repeatedly, the focus of the projected image may become soft.
2.     When inputting a 1600 X 1200 resolution image with audio signals via the HDMI interface, audio cannot be output.

If your Canon WUX4000 projector has one of the firmware versions listed below, it may be affected by the phenomena described above. If so, please contact us using the contact information listed at the bottom of this page and we will update the firmware of the projector to address these phenomena.

Make a projection and display the menu.

1. Press the MENU button on the projector or on the remote controller to open the menu screen.
2. Use the right cross-directional key (►) to move to the Information tab.
3. Check the firmware version in the Firmware field. (The following menu is displayed when the Network function is set to on.)
