Firmware Notice: EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM: Firmware Version 1.0.7
Firmware Version 1.0.7 incorporates the following fix:
- Improves the panning assist performance when [Panning] in [Special Scene Mode] is used for Live View shooting with cameras* compatible with the panning feature.
*Cameras compatible with the panning feature in [Special Scene Mode] as of July 2018 are EOS 6D Mark II, EOS M5, EOS M6 and EOS M50.
Please note that the lens firmware update cannot be performed with the EOS M10.
Firmware Version 1.0.7 is for lenses that have 1.0.6 or earlier. If the lens' firmware is already version 1.0.7, it is not necessary to update the firmware. The lens' firmware version can be checked from the camera's menu.
