Firmware Notice: EOS-1D X Mark II: Firmware Version 1.1.8

Firmware Version 1.1.8 incorporates the following functional improvements and fixes.

1. Improves the camera’s connection compatibility to a PC while using a USB 3.0 or higher compatible cable.

The Version 1.1.8 firmware being released this time is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.1.7. If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.1.8, it is not necessary to update the firmware. When updating the firmware of your camera, please first go over the instructions thoroughly before you download the firmware.
