Firmware Notice: XF305/XF300: Firmware Version 1.0.9.0
Details
Firmware Version 1.0.9.0 incorporates the following correction.
Corrects a phenomenon in which the dark areas of the image are displayed in blue on the LCD panel. This occurs when the camera is configured with the following settings:
- Custom Picture (CP) gamma is set to [Hlt.Pri.]
- LCD/VF Setup
- LCD Setup > Backlight > [Bright]
- View Assistance > [On]
The recorded footage is not affected by this phenomenon.
Please Note: This phenomenon only occurs when the camera is running Firmware Version 1.0.8.0.
Firmware Version 1.0.9.0 is for XF305 and XF300 camcorders with Firmware Version 1.0.0.0 - 1.0.8.0. If your camcorder's firmware is already Version 1.0.9.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware. Once the camcorder is updated to the latest version, it cannot be restored to a previous version.
