Firmware Notice: EOS Ra: Firmware Version 1.6.0
Firmware Version 1.6.0 incorporates the following improvements and fixes:
- Support for the RF 85mm F1.2L USM DS lens has been added.
- Incorporate the function of EOS R firmware version 1.4.0
Firmware Version 1.6.0 is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.5.0. If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.6.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
Once the EOS Ra is updated to Version 1.6.0 (or later), it cannot be restored to a previous firmware version (Version 1.5.0).

Download Firmware Version 1.6.0 for the EOS Ra.
This firmware update is for cameras equipped with older firmware versions. If the camera firmware is already the latest version (Version 1.4.0), a firmware update is unnecessary.
