Slanted lines may appear on the edge of images printed with some SELPHY CP1200 compact photo printers. Customer support for this phenomenon is described below.

Phenomenon
In some cases, slanted lines may appear on the edge of the printed image.
Affected Products
Only some SELPHY CP1200 compact photo printers are affected by this phenomenon.
The phenomenon may occur with printers whose serial numbers meet the criteria below.

The serial number is listed on the bottom of the product.
If the serial number of the printer meets the criteria listed above, and has a black marking in the location
shown below, this indicates that the printer has been corrected and the phenomenon will not occur.
Support
If the serial number of the printer meets the criteria listed above, and does not have a black marking in the location shown above, Canon will repair the unit free of charge, provided that the phenomenon occurs with the unit and that this occurrence is confirmed by Canon. If you own one of the affected printers, please contact our Customer Support Center.
