1. Battery Grip BG-E2
It has been discovered that when using Battery Grip BG-E2 with EOS 20D, 20Da or 30D digital SLR cameras, there are cases that, even with fully charged batteries (exclusive battery pack or NiMH battery) or unused AA size batteries, only a few shots can be taken or "bc" is displayed immediately.
2. Disappearance of images when using Lexar Compact Flash Cards
We have received inquiries about the problem of images disappearing when using specific digital SLR cameras. As a result of our investigation, we found that the following two problems may occur. Please be advised of the details and countermeasures.
Disappearance of images when using Lexar Compact Flash Cards
Captured images on some Lexar CompactFlash cards can be lost when used with the Canon cameras listed above. Working together, Lexar and Canon have investigated the cause and confirmed that the problem occurs in extremely rare instances when the products above are used together.
3. Serial Number Rubbing Off
We discovered that, for some of the EOS 20D and EOS Digital Rebel XT models that were produced during a certain period of time, the body number printed on the label had worn off following use of the product. This problem affects some products in the following serial number ranges:
Body No. "0910400001 - 0910402496", "0920400001 - 0920407771", "0930400001 - 0930417770"
The body number becoming faint or wearing off does not affect the product functionality. It also does not affect warranty service since the body number is recorded as data in the product. Please contact your local service center if you encounter this problem.
