We have confirmed a phenomenon in which an erroneous temperature warning is displayed during use of some PowerShot G7X Mark III compact digital cameras soon after purchase.

If this phenomenon occurs, please try following the steps below.

1. Turn the camera’s power on.
2. Set the Date/Time.
3. Turn the camera’s power off.
4. Leave the camera with the power off for at least 90 minutes.

After following these steps, the erroneous temperature warning should not recur. If the warning recurs, please contact us at 1-800-OK-CANON.
