In Michigan, Canon offers a mail-back program through its partner, Reverse Logistics Group Americas, Inc. (RLGA). This program provides convenient mail-back for consumers to return their printers and fax machines at end of life for environmentally sound recycling. We encourage all of our customers to recycle their used electronics. Canon has partnered with ERI to provide free and environmentally sound recycling for Canon printers and legacy monitors in New Jersey in compliance with the Electronic Waste Management Act.

Please note that in certain instances our recycling locations may not be able to accept materials from all Covered Entities (such as school districts, State entities, or local government units).

 

For New Jersey Consumers who are not physically able to travel to a collection site without assistance and/or not physically able to lift and move heavy (50 pounds in weight or heavier) or unwieldy covered electronic devices, Canon provides pick up service at no cost. In New York State, Canon is a member of the ERI Collective Electronic Waste Acceptance Program registered with the State Department of Environmental Conservation and in compliance with the New York State Electronic Equipment Recycling and Reuse Act. This program provides convenient methods for consumers of Covered Electronic Equipment (CEE) to return their products at end of life for environmentally sound recycling.
