Firmware Version 1.0.1.0 incorporates the following enhancement:
An 8Mbps bit rate setting has been added to the MP4 format. (Resolution: 1280x720, Frame rate: 59.94P for NTSC recording and 50.00P for PAL recording.)
Firmware Version 1.0.1.0 is for XA35/XA30, HF G40 camcorders with Firmware Version 1.0.0.0. If your camcorder’s firmware is already Version 1.0.1.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware. Once the camcorder is updated to the latest version, it cannot be restored to a previous version.
For further information, please refer to the latest version of the unit’s Instruction Manual that is released with the firmware update.
