Locating and installing your download

- A grey bar will appear at the bottom of your browser window which will contain your download. To install your download click on the name of the downloaded file. Alternatively you can click 'Show all downloads...' to view the list of all recently downloaded files
- If the grey bar is not visible you can also access the list of recently downloaded files by clicking the 3 small horizontal lines
located on the right of the address bar - Select 'Downloads' from the menu and the list of recently downloaded files will open
- From this list you can also install the download by clicking on the file name
- To open the folder on your computer that contains your downloaded files please select the 'Open downloads folder' link on the right of the page
- The folder that contains your download will now be open

CanoScan 2700F LIMITED WARRANTY
The Limited Warranty set forth is given by Canon U.S.A., Inc. ("Canon U.S.A.") with respect to the Canon brand CanoScan 2700F (the "Product") purchased and used in the United States. The Limited Warranty is only effective upon presentation of a bill of sale, warranty card or other proof of purchase.
The product, when delivered to you in new condition in the original container, is warranted against defects in workmanship or materials for a period of one year after the date of original purchase, and is limited to repair, adjustment and/or replacement of defective parts ("Warranty Service"). Warranty Service shall not extend the warranty period of the defective product. Warranty Service will be performed free of charge by Canon U.S.A.'s Factory Service Centers (the "Service Providers").
When returning the Product for Warranty Service, the shipping charges must be prepaid and the Product must be packed to withstand the hazards of shipment, and be fully insured. Please include a complete description of the problem. If your service is covered by this warranty, repairs will be made and the Prodcut will be returned to you without charge. Repairs not under warranty will be at such cost and upon such terms as the Service Providers may, from time to time, establish. This Warranty shall not apply if the Product is used in conjunction with non-compatible software, computers, monitors, peripherals or other equipment, as to which items Canon U.S.A. shall have no responsibility. NON-CANON-BRAND EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE WHICH MAY BE DISTRIBUTED WITH THE PRODUCT ARE SOLD "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND BY CANON U.S.A., INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
The sole warranty, if any, with respect to such non-Canon-brand equipment of software is given by its manufacturer or producer. This Warranty covers defects in workmanship or materials encountered in normal use of the Product and does not apply in the following cases:
- loss or damage due to abuse, misuse, improper care, mishandling. Acts of God, electrical current fluctuations or failure to follow operating, maintenance or environmental instructions prescribed in the instruction manual;
- loss or damage caused by service, repair, disassembly, or modification by other than an authorized Service Provider;
- use of parts or supplies ( other than those distributed by Canon U.S.A.) which damage the product.
- loss or damage caused by impact, sand, soil, water, liquid or any foreign matter or contaminant of any kind.
- loss or damage resulting from the use of the Product of accessories, attachments, supplies, parts or devices that do not conform to Canon specifications;
- loss or damage resulting during shipment (claim must be presented and examined by shipper);
- models of the Product which are not distributed by Canon U.S.A. and;
- if the name of the dealer, the date of purchase or serial number are inaccurate or have been altered or omitted.
THIS WARRANTY COVERS THE BODY OF THE PRODUCT ONLY; ACCESSORIES, ATTACHMENTS, SUPPLIES, PARTS OF DEVICES USED WITH THE PRODUCT ARE SOLD "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND BY CANON U.S.A., INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, APPLIES TO THE PRODUCT AFTER THE APPLICABLE PERIOD OF EXPRESS WARRANTY STATED ABOVE. NO EXPRESS WARRANTY OR GUARANTY, EXCEPT AS MENTIONED ABOVE, GIVEN BY ANY PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT SHALL BIND CANON U.S.A. ( SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.) CANON U.S.A. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF FILM, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, FAILURE TO REALIZE SAVINGS OR THEIR BENEFITS, OTHER LOSSES, EXPENSES OR INCONVENIENCES, OR ANY OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED, AND EVEN IF CANON U.S.A. HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, NOR SHALL RECOVERY OF ANY KIND AGAINST CANON U.S.A. BE GREATER IN AMOUNT THAN THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, YOU ASSUME ALL RISK AND LIABILITY FOR LOSS, DAMAGE OF INJURY TO YOU AND YOUR PROPERTY AND TO OTHERS AND THEIR PROPERTY ARISING OUT OF THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY PRODUCT SOLD BY CANON U.S.A. NOT CAUSED DIRECTLY BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF CANON U.S.A. ( SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU). THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXTEND TO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF ANY PRODUCT, OR THE PERSON FOR WHOM IT WAS PURCHASED AS A GIFT, AND STATES YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY.
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
KEEP THIS WARRANTY CARD. IT IS YOUR PERMANENT RECORD OF WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO YOUR PRODUCT AND, IF LOST, IT WILL NOT BE REISSUED.
